EHC are delighted to have won the Lanarkshire Business Excellence in Innovation Award for the second year in a row.

The innovative EHC Solar PV Ready Electric Radiator system makes use of an intelligent controller to ensure when the occupant is not using any of the energy being generated by the PV panels it is diverted to either their Hot Water Cylinder or to EHC Ceramic Radiators.

This innovative system provides a background heat during daylight hours until the main central heating system is required. EHC are undertaking trials to understand how much money this system can save an occupant on their energy costs and prove it makes the occupied space a more comfortable place to live. Furthermore, for those occupants who are fuel poor we hope these trials show this system provides additional heat to their home they otherwise would not have had.

The innovative EHC Solar PV Ready Electric Radiators are the latest addition to the well-established and proven range of EHC DSR Electric Radiators. The DSR Electric Radiators look like conventional ‘wet’ system radiators, heat up and operate like ‘wet’ system radiators.
